How to Run a Giveaway Using the Series Feature on TYB

Giveaways are a powerful way to drive participation, reward your community, and celebrate product drops or big brand moments. TYB’s Series feature lets you group multiple challenges together and gate rewards based on completion, making it the perfect tool for running a structured giveaway.

Step-by-Step: How to Facilitate a Giveaway Using Series

1. Decide on Your Giveaway Prize

Start by identifying the item(s) up for grabs. This could be:

A new product from an upcoming drop

A limited-edition collab piece

A high-value reward from your TYB Shop

💡Tip: Exclusivity = higher engagement. Make it something your community can’t get anywhere else.

2. Create a New Series

Navigate to the Series tab in your TYB admin dashboard.

Title your Series something clear and catchy (e.g. “NEW PRODUCT GIVEAWAY”)

Add a short description (e.g. “Complete this challenge series for the chance to win an exclusive piece from our now drop!”)

3. Add Challenges to the Series

Include a mix of challenge types to keep the Series fun and engaging. Good examples include:

Submit a Text Response (e.g. Why do you want to win this piece?)

Upload Content (e.g. Show us your fave look/product)

Submit a Video (e.g. Tell us how you’d style/use the drop)

This or That / Multiple Choice (e.g. Vote on your favorite colorway)

💡Tip: Use 3–5 challenges total to balance participation and effort.

4. Gate the Giveaway Reward

First, request a new Role from your Account Manager to assign as the Reward aka entry to the giveaway (e.g. “New Drop Giveaway Entry).

Then, in the Series setup, set the base reward as the Giveaway Role.

5. Promote Your Giveaway

Use all available surfaces to drive participation:

In emails or SMS

On Instagram/TikTok

In TYB Chat

📣 Suggested caption:

We're giving away [product name]! Complete our TYB challenge series for a chance to win. Only available to community members 👀

6. Pick and Announce Your Winner

After the Series deadline:

Make sure you’ve give then Bonus reward to all valid entries in the Series so that you can choose a winner

Randomly select a winner from the participants who received the Role by navigating to Membership > Role > Manage Members

Announce it in your TYB community or on socials
