TYB Shop Setup – Tyb

Overview

TYB Shop allows brands to list collections that community members can purchase within the TYB App, using coins and/or currency. This guide will walk you through the steps to list a product in TYB Shop and ensure it is visible to your community.

What is TYB Shop?

TYB Shop is a seamless extension of your Shopify storefront, enabling TYB members to purchase products directly through your Shopify backend without leaving the TYB app. Through TYB Shop, you can give members access to exclusive products, perks, and early releases — right from the TYB app.

TYB Shop Prerequisites

Before setting up TYB Shop, please check the follow:

You must have the TYB Redemption App fully configured prior to installing TYB Shop. If you do not have this integration configured, please reach out to your Implementation Manager or brandsupport@tyb.xyz.

You must have access in Shopify to edit products in order to configure collection listings. If you do not have edit access, please reach out to your Shopify admin for access.

You must have a TYB brand admin profile to connect TYB Shop to your Shopify.

How to Setup TYB Shop

Step 1: Install the TYB Shop App

In your Brand Admin, go to Settings > Integrations and locate the “Shopify - TYB Shop” section. Click Connect to begin.

Connect your Brand Admin account.

You’ll be prompted to wait for approval from TYB. Feel free to ping your Implementation Manager or Brand Success Manager to help expedite this step.

Once the app is installed and approved, return to this page to continue setup.

Click Done to continue with setup.

After approval, select which collections you want to feature in your TYB Shop (Step 2).

Step 2: Select Collections to Display in TYB Shop

Once you have installed the TYB Shop app and connected the app to your TYB Brand Admin, it’s time to select which products and collections you want displayed in TYB’s Global Shop and your brand’s TYB Shop.

Review Sales Channels

In Shopify, go to the TYB Shop > scroll down to Available Collections > Manage Availability > Collection.

Select “Columns” in the top right corner, then toggle on “Sales Channels.” This will add a Sales Channels column next to your available collections.

From there, make sure the appropriate sales channels are selected for each collection. Please ensure that TYB Shop is selected for any collection that you want visible within TYB, both in Global Shop and your TYB Shop. If you do not want specific products or collections visible to your TYB Community, remove TYB Shop as a sales channel.

Note: To quickly enable TYB Shop for all collections, update the first collection to include TYB Shop along with any other relevant Sales Channels, then drag down to select the remaining rows to apply the same selection in bulk.

Click Save.

Make sure to review all Products and Collections that are added to TYB Shop as a sales channel. Please make sure that all products live on TYB Shop are associated with a collection that is also gated to TYB Shop as a sales channel

Return to your TYB Brand Admin

Click “Done!”

Step 3: Turn on TYB Shop

In your TYB Brand Admin, click “Activate TYB Shop” to make your shop visible on your TYB Brand Page.

Once activated, your store front name will show as Live under the TYB Shop, along with the total number of collections you’ve published.

Step 4: Review and Manage Collection Visibility in Brand Admin

After you’ve added TYB Shop as a Sales Channel to your selected Collections in Shopify, you can review and manage the visibility of these collections directly in TYB, if any quick changes need to be made.

Navigate to Sales > TYB Shop and select “Settings”

Under Collections, use the toggle to select whether you want the product Collection to be visible in your brand’s TYB Shop, linked to your Brand Page.

Note: If you want a product or collection hidden from TYB entirely — both in Global Shop and your TYB Shop — please remove TYB Shop as a Sales Channel from the product and/or collection in Shopify.

Click Save when all selections have been made

Step 5: Monitor and Manage

Track Sales and Redemptions:

You will now be able to report on TYB Shop as a Sales Channel within any reporting system connected to Shopify.
