3.20.26 - Obsessions+ Overview

We are excited to share that all brands are now invited to join Obsessions+. With Obsessions+, your members can now earn affiliate commission when they drive sales for your brand on tyb through their Obsessions posts.

In this email, we will cover the basics of what Obsessions+ is and how your brand can get started.

How it works for members

Step 1: Create an Obsession Members create posts in-app, like they do today. Members will continue earning coins for posting about products we've verified as a purchase, but can now also earn commission on any products a brand has made available through our affiliate program.

Step 2: Share their unique link Members can share the link to their profile or individual Obsessions post on social, or with friends and family. When someone clicks their link, they don't need to log in to TYB to purchase.

Once someone buys the product through their Obsession, the member receives credit for driving the sale.

Step 3: Track & withdraw in app Members must connect with Stripe to receive commissions. Within the TYB wallet, members are able to see the commission they earned per sale, and track status.

All commissions are pending until the return window closes, and the brand invoice is paid. Typical payouts become available for withdraw 60-90 days post-sale.

How it works for your brand

Step 1: Add our Shopify pixel In less than 2 minutes, you can add our custom pixel to your site. This allows us to track purchases and attribute properly from Obsessions.

Step 2: Select eligible products While your members will be able to write Obsessions+ about any products they have purchased, we recommend adding a wider variety of products to increase potential sales.

Step 3: Track sales & pay commission At the end of every month, you'll receive an automated report with the sales driven by TYB members, along with an invoice for 13% to cover the member commissions and additional transaction fees.
