Redemption
Drive sales via gamified engagement. Learn how rewards are redeemed and measured.
TYB's redemption system allows members to convert their earned coins into discount codes to use on your brands website, making their engagement more rewarding while boosting brand sales.
How Does Redemption Work on TYB?
On TYB, members can redeem the coins earned by engaging with your brand for discount codes to use on your website, increasing repeat purchases and brand loyalty.
Members can redeem their coins in several different ways, including:
- In-App Redemption: Members generate dollar off and percentage off discount codes within the TYB app.

- Shopify Checkout Extension: Coins can be applied at checkout using TYB's Wallet Checkout Extension on a brand’s Shopify site.

- TYB Shop Redemption: Members redeem coins directly within the TYB Shop.

Note: Codes expire 365 days from the time of generation.
Key Components of Redemption on TYB
Configuration
- Minimum Spend Goal + Minimum Cart: Set a minimum spend goal to ensure all TYB purchases are a net-positive revenue transaction. The spend goal should be set just under the price of a brand’s core product/SKU. Once the spend goal is set, TYB’s dynamic minimum cart will automatically scale based on the $-off discount that’s being applied — in order to unlock a higher discount, members must increase their minimum cart value, and vice versa.
- Daily Redemption Limit: Based on AOV TYB, sets a cap on the total redemption amount per user, per level, per day.
- Code Stacking: Brands can choose to allow stacking TYB redemption codes with other Shopify discount codes (e.g., Black Friday sales, free shipping codes). Shipping discount stacking is enabled by default, order and product discounts stacking are disabled by default.
