πΆ Tab 1: Overview
The high-level pulse of your community and its financial performance.
1. Current Community Size π
- What it is: The total number of unique users currently in your brand group.
- % Change: Calculated against the previous equivalent period.
- Example: if the selected range is 67 days, the comparison is to the 67 days immediately prior.
- What controls it? The number is impacted by the date range filter.
- Why it matters: This is the "top of your funnel." It represents your total reach within the TYB ecosystem and the number of fans you can activate at any moment.
2. Average % Community Engaged π
- What it is: The average percentage of your members who have taken a meaningful action in your community divided by the total number of users in your community that are active on the platform.
- What counts as "engaged"? A user is considered engaged if they complete a challenge, submit an "Obsession," or participate in a brand challenge and/or event.
- Why it matters: Size is great, but activity is better. This metric tells you if your members are actually listening and participating. If this number is low, it might be time to launch a new, high-value challenge!
3. Gross Revenue (from TYB Members) π
- What it is: The total dollar amount spent by TYB members during your selected time range. This is "Gross" revenue, meaning it is the total before discounts are applied.
- The Fine Print: It does not include taxes or shipping costs.
- How we track it: For an order to show up here, the user must have already joined your community, and their email address on TYB must match their email on Shopify.
- Why it matters: This is your primary "Proof of Value." It shows you exactly how much raw commerce is flowing through your loyal TYB fan base.
4. Number of TYB Member Orders π
- What it is: The total count of successful transactions placed by your community members within the selected time period.
- Why it matters: While Gross Revenue tells you the value, this tells you the frequency. It helps you understand if your members are making one big purchase or returning frequently for smaller orders.
5. Community Members Over Time π
- What it is: A cumulative graph showing your community growth month-by-month.
- Why it matters: This helps you visualize growth trends. You can use this to see if a specific marketing campaign or product launch led to a "spike" in new members joining your group.
6. Gross vs. Net Revenue Over Time π
- What it is: A stacked bar chart showing your daily or monthly revenue.
- How to read it: * The Top (Reddish segment): Your GMV (Gross Merchandise Value). This is the total value of orders before any TYB discounts were applied.
- The Bottom segment: Your NMV (Net Merchandise Value). This is the actual after TYB and non TYB discounts.
- Why it matters: This visually represents your "Discount Efficiency." A small gap between red and the bottom means your fans are buying even without massive discounts.
π‘ Pro-Tips for E-com Managers:
- Email Matching: If a customer asks about not seeing their rewards or their data is missing, always double-check that their Shopify email and TYB email are identical.
- Time Ranges: Use the date selector to compare your "High Challenge" months (when you are active on TYB) vs. your "Quiet" months to see the direct lift in revenue.
βοΈΒ A few things to know when looking at your dashboards:
- Report Type: Changes how data is grouped and displayed in charts
- Date Range:
- Impacts: KPIs, Top Spenders, Top Obsessions
- Does not impact: Chart groupings or all-time metrics
- KPIs: Reflect the exact selected date range
- Charts: Rounded to full periods (weeks/months) for consistency
- Purchasers: Shown as a cumulative total, not new per period
- Zero Values: Displayed as βno data foundβ (means the value is 0)
- π = Single metric
- π = Graph
