TYB provides brands with full control over how TYB discount codes interact with other discount types at Shopify checkout. By adjusting settings in TYB Brand Admin and Shopify, brands can enable stacking capabilities, ensuring seamless application of TYB codes alongside other discounts, such as free shipping or seasonal promotions.

Enabling Discount Stacking in TYB Brand Admin

To configure stacking rules for TYB discount codes:

Log into TYB Brand Admin

Go to Integrations → Shopify

Click Edit Code Stacking

Toggle on the discount types you want TYB codes to stack with:

Product discounts

Order discounts

Free shipping codes

Note: If you’d like to enable Product or Order discount stacking, please reach out to your TYB Customer Success Manager or email brandsupport@tyb.xyz for help.

Click Save to confirm your changes

Configuring Shopify Discount Combinations

To allow TYB codes to stack with specific Shopify discount codes:

Go to Shopify Admin → Discounts

Select the discount code you want to stack (e.g., "BFCM20")

Under the "Combinations" section, enable "Order Discounts"

Click Save to apply the changes

Advanced Discount Strategies

1. Enable Free Shipping for TYB Members

Encourage TYB community engagement with exclusive free shipping codes:

Create a free shipping code in Shopify (e.g., TYBFREESHIP)

Configure it as an order discount that is combinable with product discounts

In TYB Brand Admin, enable stacking for TYB codes

2. Ensure TYB Codes Are the Only Stackable Discounts

Control discount stacking by restricting combinability site-wide while allowing TYB-specific stacking:

Set all new discount codes to be non-stackable in Shopify

Ensure new product discount codes in Shopify are not combinable

In TYB Brand Admin, allow stacking only for Product Discounts

This ensures that TYB codes remain the only stackable discounts, providing exclusive perks to community members while preventing unintended discount overlaps.
